BOLOGNA CHILDREN BOOKFAIR

Children’s Book Fair is the most important international event dedicated to the children’s publishing and multimedia industry.
In its 46th edition, the Fair offers more than 20.000 square meters of exhibition space with a simple, easy-to-understand layout. Illustrators Exhibition: Prestigious, established artists and emerging talents are selected by an influential international jury composed of publishers, artists and museum directors. Fiction and non-fiction exhibited works are published in the Annual, a convenient reference tool that publishers use year-round. They will also be part of the traveling shows organized by JBBY (Japan Board on Books for Young People) in several Japanese museums and other venues currently under study. From 23 to 26 March at Bologna, Italy.

WORLD BODYPAINTING FESTIVAL

Since 1998 Europes most colourful event has taken place in Seeboden. The “World Bodypainting Festival” presented by Kryolan is the largest Art event in the Bodypainting theme and spreads the artform to thousands of interested visitors each year.
Artists from 40 Nations worldwide come to this unique event and create amazing scenery of bodyart and nature.The festival week is from 13th to 19th of July. The 3 of July 2009 is the cut off date for registrations.

THE WONDERWORLD OF AIRBRUSH

The Spa Casino is the ultimate surrounding to invite 40 International Airbrush Artists in their becoming character of originality and stage-managing. The artists present as well a number of their existing works as show you live their talents in airbrushing a new work on site. All variations of the airbrush scene are surfacing from the Portrait and Fine-Art, Airbrushing bikes and cars, t-shirts and leather decorations and the bodypainting. During the festival artists and enthusiasts can get their supplies from a commercial stand, Harolds from Rotterdam, in canvas, special paint and other equipment. Dates: 27 and 28 June 2009.
