The painting course aims to teach technique in order to encourage individual expression and to explore the usage of various materials in an open-ended way.

	Main topics are as follow: basic drawing techniques, setting and sketching, observation skills, creative perception strategies. Interpreting images through drawing: light, volume and chiaroscuro. Introduction to various techniques: study of watercolours, tempera-gouache, acrylics, pastels, oil and mixed media.
	Particular emphasis will be on the creative interpretation of the figure, object composition, nature and open air painting. Form, value, line, proportions and colours will be studied as means of determining space, shape, volume and composition. info@artandheart.it

INTENSIVE COURSES

Timetable: 25 hours, 5 hours each class (2,30 pm - 7,30 pm), for 5 days consecutively. Next dates for 2010:

SUMMER COURSES

Timetable: 48 hours, 12 lessons of 4 hours each, from Monday to Thursday, 16 hours per week. On afternoon's 3 pm to 7 pm. Next dates for 2010:

3rd to 20th May (Monday to Thursday)
2nd to 19th August (Monday to Thursday)

3 MONTH COURSES Timetable: 56 hours, 4 hours each class (3,00 pm - 7,00 pm), only on Saturdays. Dates for this course are always open, except on christmas and summer holidays and dependind on place availability.
